WE PROVIDE GED CLASSES

The General Educational Development (GED) is a series of tests designed to measure the skills and knowledge equivalent to that of a high school graduate. The GED program provides an opportunity for individuals who did not complete high school to earn a credential that is recognized as equivalent to a high school diploma.

The GED test covers four main subject areas, each of which corresponds to a traditional high school subject. The subjects of the GED are:

  1. Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA): This section assesses reading comprehension, writing skills, and your ability to analyze and interpret texts. It includes tasks such as reading passages, writing essays, and editing written passages.

  2. Mathematical Reasoning: This section evaluates your mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. Topics covered include algebra, geometry, data analysis, and quantitative reasoning.

  3. Science: As mentioned in the previous response, the science section tests your understanding of life science, physical science, earth and space science, and scientific reasoning skills.

  4. Social Studies: This section covers various social science topics, including history, geography, civics and government, and economics. Questions may involve interpreting maps, analyzing historical events, and understanding principles of government.

The GED tests are not just about memorization; they also assess critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Successfully passing the GED tests can open up opportunities for further education and career advancement for individuals who did not complete traditional high school. It's important to note that the content and format of the GED tests may vary by jurisdiction, so individuals preparing for the GED should familiarize themselves with the specific requirements of their testing location.
